Standard-issue battle-armor is the foundation of every Elite Task Force soldier’s defense. It is constructed from blast-resistant, high-density microfiber which is stacked and compressed to form thick armor plates. It can stop 99.76% of all anti-personnel rounds currently available on the market, even when fired at point-blank range.
The armor is layered in plates, bending and adjusting to the movements of the wearer. It is estimated that the average life expectancy of a soldier in battle-armor rises by at least 17.83% in a standard high-threat scenario.
It is usually worn over titanium-weave undergarments that provide added protection around the neck, arms, knees, and ankles.
